a local, family run restaurant
I'm often skeptical of a restaurant that tries to serve "international" but they my concern was unfounded. I counted 7 cuisines and she mastered them all. The French wine was quite good, too (I used to work in a tasting room in CA). Properly stored and served at an ambient room temperature. Don't miss Tuesday and Saturday nights for $1 tapas! Definitely coming back.
Tuesdays and Saturdays are $1 tapas night at Cousin Garden and it's a great way to sample a range of their food. The tofu dishes were stand outs, and cocktails are also $1...so beware not to go crazy! Great food, great service and great price at the end of the night. Will be back for more.
This is a fairly new restaurant and the staff are to be commended for their hard work and willingness to provide friendly, efficient service to their customers. Both the kitchen and dining areas are scrupulously clean and meals are prepared to order. The decor is simple and complements the overall atmosphere. There is a wide range of food available. Vegetarians and vegans are well catered for. The meals are a good size, inexpensive and well presented. There is a range of drinks and they are well priced.
